adoption day!

Well, it is official- Tulip is the newest member of the Landon family in WI! As an only dog, she will be spoiled rotten and treated as a little princess. What a wonderful day for our little girl. We wish you all the best Tules!!!

share the love!

Did you know that you could probably have a foster dog of your very own? Of course, it won't be Tulip... but it will be a lovable and cuddly dog that you can brag endlessly about on his/her own blog. You can share tons of stories and pix on Petfinder. You can pick just about any breed, or even get a fun mixed breed. The best part, beyond the love and kisses, is that you can help your foster friend find his furever home! Too cool. Tules is our foster number 10 or 11 or 12 (who knows). They have all touched our hearts and we have happily (and tearfully) helped them make the journey from foster to forever pet. Check out Petfinder to find a rescue near you. For the best in birddogs, we suggest Illinoisbirddogrescue.org

Zen Tulip

Yes, she has a soft spiritual side. Sometimes Tulip just rolls over and contemplates LIFE. Our little girl wants a belly rub, a nice fresh bone, and some cuddles. No taking anything for granted here, Miss Tulip dances for her supper (and her breakfast).

Tulip has a nose for fun!

Maybe you haven't noticed, but here at Camp Seeling, we LOVE our foster dogs! Tulip is our star student right now. A+ for getting along with others. She loves her doggy brother and sister. She grabs their ears, begging them to play, play, play. Our toy box of dog toys is emptied out daily. She pulls all the toys out, figuring (we guess) that the best one has to be on the bottom. This little girl just wants to have FUN.

Tulip The Great

Introducing....Tulip the Great!

This lab-pointer girl is our foster dog with Illinois Birddog Rescue (illinoisbirddogrescue.org).
Our sweet little lady came into rescue missing quite a bit of fur due to a puppy skin condition. Good food, vet visits, and lots of love have turned her around. While her coat continues to come in, she becomes more confident and sassy every day. Her Petfinder page talks about what a great addition she would be to any family. But her blog is all about her just having fun and being Tulip!

Afternoon of Play

Tulip and her "playmate" Cole are playing tug of war.Tulip loves the outdoors and will be outside all day if we let her. After her play session was over Tuls was taking a long nap on the bed.
